The project involves the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of a 132 kV Double Circuit Transmission Line (approximately 45 km in length) along with Substation Bay Extension works at Ghatail Substation, executed on a Turnkey Basis.
The scope of work includes detailed engineering design, procurement and supply of all required materials and equipment, construction of tower foundations, erection of towers, stringing of conductors, and installation of Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) for communication and protection systems. The substation works at Ghatail cover the extension and modification of existing 132 kV bays, including installation of switchgear, protection and control panels, associated civil and electrical works, and integration with the existing grid system.
All activities have been completed in compliance with relevant international standards and utility specifications, ensuring high system reliability, operational safety, and long-term performance. As a turnkey project, the contractor was fully responsible for delivering a fully functional and energized 132 kV transmission network and bay extension at Ghatail Substation ready for commercial operation.
